League Rules of Conduct / Standards

Chat / Voice Text

  • Try to limit the use of swear words, while some of us have it ingrained in our speech, others do not. We also run into younger folk who shouldn't need to hear it and sometimes people in chat does not have a headset and could be listening to speech through the TV / surround sound and their little ones could be around.

  • Please limit the use of music in the background. At times this isn't possible, especially if you live with a roommate who likes to blare his radio. If it's too loud, please utilize the games push to talk feature so that it isn't drowning out the people you're in chat with.

  • Do not bully people and try to not misconstrue smack talk for bullying. Jokingly telling someone that they suck is one thing, but angrily telling them is another thing. We have lots of people that are related, brothers argue and are competitive with each other. If you do believe someone is being attacked then please let an officer know. This goes for pugs as well. If you have an issue with one of our people we need to know. Ideally you talk to the person first and try to resolve it on your own. But sometimes escalation needs to occur or someone may not want to escalate the issue between both parties. We are all adults and should be able to resolve things.

  • When your in an instance with PUGs make sure that you go to instance chat. If they are not there then you can go back to league / group / the custom channel you were in. Communication is key to this game and if you can't communicate effectively then things won't go so well. As a member of The Forsaken Order we help everyone. Sometimes PUGs may want to go for a feat, if so we need to be able to easily communicate with them for their needs. This will also allow recruiting under certain circumstances.

  • Not a rule but a courtesy, when you hop on shoot a message to league telling everyone hey and goodbye when you leave. We try to be sociable and by saying hi and bye you help break the ice with the shy people in the league.

Group Loot

  • We always run Need before Greed.

  • You may only need on equipment that will raise your stats, plans and collection pieces you do not have, and base items that you need for a feat. If you need on a base item and it turns out you already had it for your feat please ask the people in the run if they need it. We encourage people to make money when they can and feat base items usually fetch a pretty penny, but someone getting closer to a skill point is more valuable.

  • Greed should be used for equipment styles that you do not have, plans, base items, and collections that you have already collected can be.

  • If you already have the style we ask that you do not greed (but this is a courtesy request not a rule, as there are styles you can get a lot of money for on the broker) and some are trade-able so you can send them to your alts. We ask this courtesy so that people with you who need the style can get it for the feat associated with it. If no one needs it and everyone passes then it is treated as all group members did a greed.

Running Instances

  • Please follow the rules already listed above when running instances

  • Before PUGing content always ask in League if someone wants to run with you and give them a minute or two to respond, in case they are in the middle of a boss fight. The purpose of a league is to run content together. If your just going to PUG everything then it's pointless to be in a league. Most people are just sitting around doing nothing or farming wanted posters / collections / exo-materials and would love to run with you.

  • Kicking people is not acceptable in any case except for when someone is just being carried through. If your a group of 3 160's with a level 32 in a T1 four player, that toon obviously won't keep up with you, but as long as they are standing with you in the fight they can't be kicked. If they are nowhere to be found and are lagging behind everyone then it is okay after you ask them if they are going to participate, if no response then its acceptable to kick.

  • Always try to be upbeat and positive, even if the situation looks dire and there are multiple wipes. Try to make suggestions if wipes are occuring on how you beat it before. Some people may have never ran the instance before and may not know the mechanics.

  • Suggestion only: At the end of all instances try to give a thumbs up, cheer, or thanks in chat. Do this in text if not everyone is in the voice channel. If you had a PUG that did an exceptional job then make sure that you give them a shoutout like, hey that was great tanking.

Recruitment

  • Everyone in the league can recruit but follow these rules.

  • There is no place that you can't recruit, but saying negative things about other leagues is not acceptable.

  • Do not post in any forum / location that another league started.

  • When in instance with PUGs if you think that they would fit in our league and are not in a league you can ask them if they would be interested in joining us.

  • We DO NOT poach from other leagues. If you are running with a good PUG who is complaining about the league they are in then you can approach them, but unless they initiate the conversation about joining us or being unhappy with their league then they are off limits.

  • If someone in a league is approached by one of our members without the above scenario please let an officer here know.

  • Officers have the right to bring anyone in when they want but to be permanently added to the league they must be vetted by the majority of the officers.

  • Non-officers can let an officer know if they have someone they are talking to and we can bring them in.

Bank Rules

  • Items in the bank are for your consumption only. Rare styles and plans are placed all the time to help people with styles, feats, and toon growth. Nothing should ever be taken out to be sold or given to someone outside of the league. Doing so will result in immediate removal from league.

  • <need the name of the new item since revamp> are stored for Premium Members. If you are premium you can take one stack at a time so that if you need to heal in battle and have no money you can sell 1 piece of the stack for $2000. Once you use the stack you have (or only have 1 or 2 pieces left) you can grab another stack. We also keep stacks of 99 sodas for premium use.

  • Please don't put junk in the bank. Rare styles and stuff are good. But common things like the Street collections that are so common they sell at $50 in the broker, normal soders, etc... shouldn't be added and will be removed if we see them in there.

  • We like people who take a lot of things to put a few things back but it's not mandatory. We understand that some people are casual players and getting a lot of rare items that you don't need may be hard to get, but if you can't pay it forward please let us know so that that we can dispel any rumors that people are only taking things.

  • Bank 4 is a prize bank for the top 3 rows and bottom two are expensive feat items. Any main can ask for the feat items. They are just stored to ensure that only mains use these. Alts can buy the feats. Prize items are yours to do what you wish. You can sell or anything with no consequences.
